Lime Works operates an established in-house manufacturing and processing facility that allies perfectly with the company’s consultancy and craft-skilled application services. We produce all the lime-putty mortars that we use; and we stand alone with a unique one-stop solution. As confirmed by one of our valued clients: Our custom-built covered manufacturing facility, allows us to protect and control the integrity of the lime-based and special aggregates at every phase of the measuring and mixing process. Manufacturing under cover provides another important protective function – it allows us to control the environment and the moisture content correctly throughout the entire production process, in readiness for dispatch in our fleet of vehicles.

Lime Works materials are designed to achieve the optimum technical performance from a combination of natural sustainable aggregates and traditional lime putties. Currently at our premises, we have the resources and capability to produce 12-tonnes of material per day; and up to an additional 10-tonnes per day on-site. We have found mass produced strong setting cement polymer and hydraulic lime materials to be wholly inappropriate and proved that they are unnecessary in comparison to Lime Works’ natural environmentally friendly materials.

Lime Works own designed materials and intelligent strategic craft skilled application methods, not only stops water ingress and perennial internal dampness problems, they create bone-dry interiors. Our authentic lime-putties, combined with specially sourced aggregates, literally sucks the water out of walls…then continues to do so. The results are extraordinarily successful and our lime wash finishes continue to improve aesthetically over time, resulting in a beautiful natural patina that will last for decades to come.
